Qualifications

  • HNC qualification or substantial EC&I engineering experience.
  • Significant experience using AutoCAD.
  • Proven experience in EC&I project delivery.
  • Experience designing electrical enclosures, control panels, and motor control centres.
  • Knowledge of CDM Regulations and IET Wiring Regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Provide associated documentation such as power load and heat calculations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce engineering design work packages (specifications, drawings, analysis, verification) with input from the engineering team, meeting legal and functional requirements within agreed timelines, costs, and quality standards.
  • Technical generation and review of engineering drawings related to control system cubicles, enclosures, and interface panels, considering site constraints and stakeholder collaboration, overseeing manufacturing and assembly to ensure high quality.
  • Provide associated documentation such as power load and heat calculations, electrical interface drawings, I/O schedules, test specifications, inspection reports, purchase orders, and quality records.
Qualifications and Experience
  • HNC qualification or substantial EC&I engineering experience.
  • Significant experience using AutoCAD.
  • Proven experience in EC&I project delivery.
  • Experience designing electrical enclosures, control panels, and motor control centres.
  • Knowledge of CDM Regulations and IET Wiring Regulations.
  • Experience with space management, panel layouts, cable routing, load and heat calculations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an integrated team under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively at all levels.
