Job summary

JASA Talent is assisting a Farnborough-based electronics and manufacturing company in search of a Hardware Design Engineer. The role focuses on analogue and digital hardware design, testing and prototyping for diverse industries.

You will work with a team of engineers, contribute to the full development lifecycle, ensure EMC compliance and UK/EU standards, and support power electronics and DC-DC system projects.

Qualifications

• Around 5 years of electronics hardware design and testing experience.
• Eligible for UK security clearance.
• Experience with hardware design for multiple industries.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, debug and prototype products with a team of electronics engineers.
• Work on microprocessor based systems as well as DC-DC and power electronics systems.
• Be involved in the full product development lifecycle including prototyping.
• Ensure designs meet UK and EU standards.
• Liaise with Embedded Software Engineers and technicians to meet company standards.

An opportunity has opened for a Hardware Design Engineer to join an electronics and manufacturing company based in Farnborough. The ideal candidate will have around 5 years experience within Electronics Hardware design and testing. You will also be required to pass security clearance so will need to be eligible for this.

The company are a mid-sized company with an excellent team of engineers from hardware engineers to embedded software engineers and technicians. You will be able to work on projects from start to finish and have a good opportunity for growth in the future.

Hardware Design Engineer Key Skills:

• Experienced Electronics Design Engineer - Hardware biased
• Analogue and Digital Electronics
• Understanding of EMC compliance
• Electronics testing experience
• Background working with microprocessors
• Debugging and fault finding experience
• Any experience of batteries, DC-DC systems would be a bonus
• Able to pass security clearance

Hardware Design Engineer Responsibilities:

• Working with a team of electronics engineers, designing, testing, debugging and prototyping products for various industries
