Job description

OUTSIDE IR35 Electronics Design Engineering Opportunity offering a skilled electronics professional to take on a long-term contract role involving supporting the development of custom bespoke power supplies via designing analogue circuits. The company is based in West Birmingham and is a hands-on opportunity with a specialised market-leading company, offering flexible working arrangements and the chance to collaborate remotely with experienced design engineers.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Designing basic analogue circuits
2. Assembling and testing PCBs (SMD and through-hole components)
3. Testing the design of HV power supplies
4. Interpreting circuit drawings and overseeing the full build process
5. Recording manufacturing and testing histories for new designs
6. Procuring suppliers and parts as needed for development work
7. Transformer winding (support provided where needed)

We’re ideally looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in the electronics industry, preferably with a degree or equivalent in a relevant field. UK citizenship and the ability to pass basic security checks (such as a DBS) are required.
