Job summary

RGB Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Handyperson to join a busy construction site in a hands-on role. Start ASAP and contribute across multiple tasks, from concrete work to basic carpentry and site readiness.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years’ handyman experience, holds a CSCS card, and can obtain BPSS clearance and a DBS certificate before starting. Umbrella pay rates apply for hourly work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years handyman experience required.
• CSCS Card (Green or Blue) preferred.
• BPSS clearance must be in place or in progress before start date.
• Basic DBS certificate must be held or you’re willing to apply before starting.
• Basic carpentry/bricklaying tool kit is required.

Responsibilities

• Filling holes in concrete.

• Temporary carpentry including formwork and temporary doors
• General site duties as instructed by site management

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' handyman experience
• CSCS Card (Green or Blue - trade card preferred)
• Basic carpentry/bricklaying tool kit
• BPSS clearance (must be in place or currently in progress before starting - we can organise this)
• Basic DBS certificate (must already be held or you're willing to apply for one before starting)

Pay

• Standard rate: £19.00 per hour (Umbrella)
• Up to £23.00 per hour (Umbrella) available for highly experienced candidates with a relevant trade CSCS card.
