Job Description:

Leading property development company is seeking an efficient temporary Handyman to assist with reactive repairs and maintenance at a student accommodation site in Nottingham. Immediate start, working hours are 9:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Performing reactive maintenance tasks such as plumbing, joinery, carpentry, painting, and decorating.
  2. Moving furniture and heavy items within the premises.
  3. Maintaining lighting and conducting statutory testing.
  4. Responding appropriately to health and safety issues.
  5. Managing electronic maintenance reports and updating records.
  6. Managing stock levels and informing management when supplies need replenishing.

Candidate requirements:

  1. Proven experience in repairs and maintenance within a residential environment or as a general builder/residential construction, with skills in plumbing, electrical work, or carpentry.
  2. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
