Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Handyman to work on a temporary ongoing basis across properties in the Liverpool and Greater Manchester area. The role covers general maintenance, cleaning, and essential repairs with regular travel between locations.

An enhanced DBS is preferred but not essential, and immediate start is available. You will work 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime possible at weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance duties.
• Cleaning duties to a high standard.
• Ability to use tools safely (training provided where necessary).
• Own transport to travel to various locations.

Responsibilities

• Drive between properties to perform maintenance tasks.

Handyman

Liverpool area, various locations | £13.50 per hour plus fuel costs | 8am – 5pm | Monday to Friday – overtime available if required at weekends | Temporary ongoing work

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Handyman to work on a temporary ongoing basis doing basic maintenance work at various properties in the Liverpool area

An enhanced DBS certificate would be an distinct advantage

Key Duties

• Driving between various properties to perform essential maintenance tasks
• Undertake cleaning duties to maintain high internal and external standards
• Perform general maintenance routines, including painting, fixing door hinges, boarding up windows, changing light bulbs etc
• Assemble and move furniture as required.
• Provide efficient removal, storage, and waste disposal services.
• Identify and report building or equipment faults promptly.
• Complete all duties in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, policies, and safe systems of work.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to develop strong working relationships with all contacts.
• Ability to follow simple instructions accurately.
• Experience in general maintenance duties
• Experience in cleaning functions and associated duties to a high standard.
• Ability to use tools, materials and equipment safely (training provided where necessary).
• Own transport to travel to various, different, daily work locations
• Current enhanced DBS certificate. – preferred but not essential
