Job summary

Randstad are looking for an experienced Handyman/Finisher to carry out duties in occupied residential homes around Birmingham. Essential CSCS, driving licence and transport are required to perform kitchen and bathroom refurbishment tasks.

Responsibilities include lining doors and drawers, sealing, tiling and minor painting. Travel from Lovell Bagnall Street West Bromwich to sites in the Birmingham area will be required.

Qualifications

• CSCS, Driving licence and transport are essential requirements.
• Good experience in refurbishment is required.
• Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Line doors and drawers in kitchens.
• Clean down new kitchen surfaces and fit plastic trim if required.
• Sealant to sinks, sockets, worktops, doors and windows.
• Fit bath panels, railings, screens and curtains in bathrooms.
• Minor painting, tiling and finishing works as needed.
• Travel from office to various Birmingham-area sites.

Kitchen -

• Line doors and draws
• Clean down new kitchen and surfaces including fitting of plastic trim if required
• Sealant to sink, sockets, worktops, doors, and windows
• Minor paint touch ups and tiling if required

Bathrooms -

• Fitting of bath panels
• Fit shower rails and screens including riser rails and shower curtains
• Plastic trim works
• Minor paint touch ups and tiling if required
• Clean and sealing

Will require full driving licence and own transport and tools. CSCS card, asbestos awareness certificate. Must have good experience in the refurbishment sector.

Office is based at Lovell Bagnall Street West Bromwich B70 0TS but will be required to travel from office to various jobs around Birmingham area.
