Job summary

V3 Recruitment Ltd is seeking a reliable Handyman to work at a Portsmouth site. You will address student maintenance issues, prepare vacant rooms for new arrivals, perform routine repairs and improvements, and help maintain pleasant, safe living environments across multiple student accommodation blocks.

Log all tasks in the ticketing system, respond promptly to new arrival requests, and escalate complex or certified repairs (electrical, gas, HVAC) to a manager with clear notes for contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in general property maintenance, facilities, or as a handyman.
• Practical skills in basic plumbing, carpentry, and general building repairs.
• Working knowledge of standard health and safety protocols (e.g., COSHH, manual handling).
• Ability to manage a digital ticketing system and communicate professionally with students.
