Job summary

Proman UK is recruiting a Handyman to support a facilities team in Colchester on a short-term cover basis.

This temporary assignment starts on 1st September 2026 and ends on 4th September 2026, offering hands-on multi-skilled repairs, painting, carpet tile work, furniture assembly and routine maintenance tasks on site.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled handyman/maintenance experience.
• Comfortable with general building repairs and site work.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• General repairs, painting and laying carpet tiles.
• Furniture assembly and fixing repairs.
• PPM (planned preventative maintenance) checks.
• Porterage duties.
