Job summary

Thrive Group are seeking a hands-on Workshop Technician in Westbury to join a permanent team. You will work with agricultural machinery and a range of equipment, focusing on servicing, maintenance and repair in a practical, team-based environment.

Experience in a workshop or vehicle maintenance setting is valued. NVQ Vehicle Maintenance is advantageous; a positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a workshop environment is preferred.
• A practical, hands-on approach with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with servicing, maintenance, inspection and repair of agricultural machinery and equipment.
• Use a range of hand tools and workshop equipment.
• Identify faults and help carry out repairs.
• Prepare machinery for service and inspection.
• Maintain a clean and organised workshop.
• Learn from experienced engineers and technicians.
