Job summary

L3Harris in Brighton is seeking a hands-on Test Technician to support testing, validation, and delivery of products used in demanding environments. The role involves working with engineering, production and programme teams to ensure tests are completed safely, accurately and efficiently.

You will interpret technical documentation, follow detailed procedures, and maintain records in a safety‑critical environment while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and test method enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Execute a variety of mechanical, electrical, and environmental tests per approved specs.
• Read and follow engineering drawings and test documentation accurately.
• Ensure testing meets quality, technical, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain Health & Safety policies and safe working practices.
• Plan, prepare, and execute test campaigns to meet objectives.
• Capture, record, and report test data and results clearly.
