Responsibilities

• Safely operate recycling machinery and equipment, ensuring smooth processing of recyclable materials
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and waste items to facilitate sorting and transportation
• Sort different types of recyclables such as plastics, metals, paper, and glass with precision and attention to detail
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the recycling area to promote safety and efficiency
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
• Follow all health and safety protocols diligently to create a secure work environment
• Assist with loading and unloading materials from trucks or containers as needed
