Job summary

Lennard Business Services is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the safe, efficient operation of depot and processing activities in a busy waste processing environment in Rotherham.

You will lead a team of around 15 staff, drive plant performance, supervise yard operations and ensure SHEQ compliance, with opportunities to develop people and processes for better operational performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in production, waste processing or recycling environments.
• Previous supervisory experience leading a team of around 15 staff.
• Experience with waste processing machinery and mobile plant.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety.
• Experience training and developing staff.
• Hands-on approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily production and yard operations.
• Optimise processing plant performance, productivity and reliability.
• Ensure safe operation of mobile plant and processing machinery.
• Train, coach and develop production staff.
• Drive improvements in SHEQ performance.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, quality and environmental compliance.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Monitor production performance and minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with maintenance and management to improve plant reliability.
