Job summary

Vision Profiles is seeking a Production Planner to own day-to-day planning and coordination of production on site. The role involves working closely with Production, Purchasing, Sales, Quality and Dispatch to keep work flowing and meet customer requirements.

You will be responsible for creating schedules, planning material picking, monitoring progress and adapting plans as priorities change, while maintaining accurate information in the systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning, scheduling and manufacturing coordination.
• Familiar with MRP/ERP systems and capacity planning.
• Experience in aluminium fabrication, CNC machining or similar manufacturing environments is useful.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain production schedules.
• Plan material picking for orders, CNC machining, fabrication, assembly and packing.
• Balance customer requirements against machine and labour capacity.
• Monitor production progress and adjust plans as priorities change.
• Identify delays before they become problems.
• Coordinate with Production Team Leaders and operators.
• Check material availability and liaise with Purchasing.
• Coordinate subcontract and external requirements as needed.
• Maintain accurate planning information in company systems.
• Communicate delivery dates and changes to relevant departments.
• Help improve planning processes and efficiency.
• Support longer-term capacity and resource planning.
