HRGO Recruitment is seeking a Production Operative for a busy manufacturing environment in Bournemouth/Poole, Dorset. The role involves operating machinery, assembling belts and components to customer specifications, and maintaining quality and efficiency at all times.

Working hours are 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with training provided. The position offers permanent employment and a salary ranging from £26,000 to £30,000 per year depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Manufacture and assemble belts and components to customer specifications.
• Prepare materials and components for the production process.
• Follow production instructions, job sheets and specifications accurately.
• Use hand tools and workshop equipment as required.
• Measure and inspect finished products to ensure quality.
• Carry out quality checks throughout the production process.
• Identify and report defects or issues to the supervisor.
• Work to production schedules and meet deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
• Follow company health and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production targets.
• Take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of your own work.
• Undertake training to develop manufacturing and technical skills.
• Carry out other duties within the production department as required.
