Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Manchester is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to support the manufacture and improvement of specialist vehicle solutions. This hands-on role combines production engineering, problem-solving, manufacturing support and mechanical design, using 2D/3D CAD to design and modify components and assemblies.

The position offers £40,000 - £45,000 (DOE) and is a permanent, full-time role Monday to Friday on day shifts in Manchester.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or degree in mechanical/manufacturing/automotive engineering or related field.
• Experience in production, manufacturing or design engineering.
• Strong 3D CAD skills: SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, AutoCAD, CATIA or similar.
• Good understanding of manufacturing, fabrication and assembly.

Responsibilities

• Support production and workshop teams.
• Design and modify components using 2D/3D CAD.
• Produce technical drawings, BOMs and manufacturing documentation.
• Resolve production issues and improve processes.
• Support new products, prototypes and engineering changes.
• Improve quality, efficiency and manufacturability.
