Job summary

Drnewitt, based in Greater London, is seeking a hands-on NPD professional to develop and trial bakery products, working with flours and ingredients to convert customer briefs into commercially viable offerings.

You will collaborate with Technical, Sales, Production and Quality teams to move concepts from test bakery to full-scale manufacturing, ensuring product quality and compliance throughout development.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience developing bakery products, mixes, premixes or flour-based products.

Responsibilities

• Develop bakery mixes and flour-based products from concept through to launch.
• Carry out hands-on test baking, trials and product evaluations.
• Develop and refine products in line with customer and commercial briefs.
• Support product trials, testing, validation and production scale-up.
• Assess finished products and competitor products.
• Develop promotional recipes and support preparation of customer samples.
• Provide technical support relating to mixes, flours and bakery products.
• Support ingredient specifications and technical documentation.
• Advise on product quality criteria and labelling information.
• Work closely with Production and QC to ensure products perform in manufacturing.
