Job summary

Platform Recruitment is representing a medical device consultancy seeking a Test Technician to join multidisciplinary teams in a hands-on laboratory environment. You will carry out mechanical and functional testing on medical and drug delivery devices, generate test data and ensure accurate record-keeping in line with quality procedures and health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience successfully conducting laboratory testing.
• Experience working with Health & Safety procedures.
• Experience creating test data and recording results accurately.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams in delivering testing activities and milestones.
• Carry out hands-on testing across R&D through to post-market investigations.
• Conduct mechanical and functional testing of medical and drug delivery devices.
• Perform environmental stress conditioning, visual inspections and measurements.
• Generate accurate test data and record results in accordance with quality requirements.
