Job summary

Platform Recruitment is seeking a Test Technician for our Duxford site to join a medical device testing team. You will conduct hands-on testing, record data and ensure quality standards are met, working closely with engineers and researchers.

The role offers the chance to develop practical lab skills within a regulated medical devices environment, with emphasis on accuracy, safety and teamwork on multidisciplinary projects.

Qualifications

• Proven laboratory testing experience.
• Experience with Health & Safety procedures.
• Ability to generate and record test data accurately.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Support testing activities across projects.
• Carry out mechanical and functional testing of devices.
• Record results in line with QA requirements.
• Follow SOPs, protocols and work instructions.
• Handle hazardous chemicals and formulations safely where required.
