Job summary

Austin Heating & Cooling is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Services Engineer for a practical, site-based role in Ingham near Thetford. You will service, maintain and repair commercial and domestic mechanical systems, traveling to customer sites as required.

Ideal candidates will have strong fault-finding skills, be comfortable reading drawings, and hold a full UK driving licence with DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one. NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience on commercial mechanical services with fault-finding skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Full UK driving licence.
• DBS check, or willingness to complete one.
• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Plumbing, Heating, Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Service, planned maintenance, reactive maintenance across mechanical building services.
• Installation, commissioning, fault-finding and repairs.
• Based from Ingham near Thetford with regular travel to customer sites.
