Job summary

Wienerberger UK & Ireland is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Maintenance Fitter) at our Ewhurst site near Horsham to keep the plant running smoothly. You’ll troubleshoot and perform planned maintenance on specialist machinery to support production efficiency.

You’ll work in a hands-on capacity across fitter, fabricator, welder and service tasks, contributing to reliability, safety and continuous improvement in a busy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanically biased engineer with experience in manufacturing environments.
• Minimum level 3 qualification in an Engineering discipline.
• Commitment to safety and best practice in health and safety.
• Flexible to adapt to changing daily priorities and physically capable.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot to maintain and repair equipment across the plant.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) to keep production running.
• Work hands-on with fitter, fabricator, welder and service tasks.
• Support efficiency and reliability of production processes.
