Job summary

Stirling Warrington in Leicester, UK, is seeking an experienced Interim Maintenance Engineering Supervisor to lead a maintenance team in a busy heavy manufacturing operation. The role is hands-on, on-the-tools, with a 3-month interim contract and a daily rate of £400.

You will supervise maintenance engineers/technicians, perform hands-on electrical and/or mechanical maintenance, diagnose faults, coordinate planned and reactive work, and ensure safety, reliability and availability across the site.

Qualifications

• Hands-on supervisory role in heavy manufacturing.
• Strong fault-finding and breakdown response experience.
• Experience supervising maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting a team of maintenance engineers/technicians.
• Carrying out hands-on electrical and/or mechanical maintenance.
• Diagnosing and rectifying equipment faults and breakdowns.
• Coordinating planned, preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Prioritising engineering work to minimise production downtime.
• Working closely with Production to maintain plant availability.
• Providing technical support and guidance to the maintenance team.
• Ensuring maintenance records and systems are maintained.
