Job summary

Mainstay Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a practical Maintenance Engineer for a busy UPVC window and door manufacturer in Aldridge, West Midlands. The role covers maintenance of specialist fabrication machinery as well as site services, with a focus on reducing downtime and keeping production moving.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, perform planned maintenance, and assist with installation and upgrades across equipment such as saws and routing machines in a hands-on

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance engineering within manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault finding abilities.
• Experience with UPVC fabrication machinery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on UPVC fabrication and production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively to keep production running.
