Job summary

Charles Trent Limited operates one of the UK’s most advanced vehicle recycling facilities and is seeking a reliable Maintenance Engineer for our Poole site. You’ll perform reactive and preventative maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, and support a fast-paced operation to keep the BH12 site running safely and efficiently.

This hands-on role is full-time (42.5 hours/week, Mon–Fri daytime with potential future shift flexibility) and offers training, development, and a supportive

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hands-on maintenance or engineering role.
Mechanical maintenance experience essential.
Basic electrical fault-finding experience desirable.
Self-motivated, proactive and able to manage workload independently.

Responsibilities

Reactive and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
Maintain site equipment and perform routine building upkeep.
Work with external contractors for servicing and repairs.
Follow health and safety procedures and support audits.
