Job summary

Sartorius in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, is seeking a proactive Mould Shop Supervisor to lead the production team on a 24/5 shift. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery, and provide hands-on technical support across injection moulding processes.

The ideal candidate has hands-on moulding experience, prior leadership, and a track record of improving OEE, scrap reduction and productivity.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in plastic injection moulding processing.
• Experience in shift leadership or production supervision.
• Solid understanding of KPIs like OEE and quality.
• Strong communication and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing and resources to deliver production plans.
• Improve OEE, scrap, downtime and efficiency.
• Provide hands-on technical support across processes.
• Maintain Health, Safety and Environmental compliance.
• Drive quality improvements to reduce defects.
• Support 5S and continuous improvement activities.
• Coach and develop team members.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues.
• Ensure targets are met without compromising safety/quality.
