Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited in Aylesbury is recruiting a CIPD Level 5 qualified HR Advisor to join our growing HR team on site, Monday to Friday, reporting to the Head of HR. This is a hands-on role delivering day-to-day HR support across the business.

You will manage HR administration, contracts, payroll preparation, absence management and employee relations, while ensuring compliance and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification is essential.
• Experience in an operational HR role as an HR Advisor.
• Strong HR best practice knowledge and employee relations processes.
• Ability to advise and challenge managers when needed.
• Excellent HR systems knowledge and IT skills.
• Outstanding administration and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for HR queries from managers and employees.
• Provide guidance on policies, procedures and HR best practice.
• Support employee relations through documentation, reports and correspondence.
• Take notes during formal HR meetings and assist case management administration.
• Manage HR administration across the employee lifecycle.
• Produce contracts, offer letters and employment documentation.
• Support absence management and employee wellbeing initiatives.
• Monitor HR data, absence statistics and trends.
• Collaborate with managers to create and review job descriptions.
• Coordinate recruitment activities and interviews.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
• Prepare payroll information and ensure timely submission.
• Assist with compliance activities and legal compliance of HR processes.
