Hands on House Manager/Maintenance & Cook/Housekeeper
Location: Nr Moreton-in-Marsh, Glos
Salary: £70k–£80k (depending on experience)
Accommodation: Beautiful 3-bedroom cottage (older dependents considered, pets welcome)

We are delighted to offer a fantastic long-term opportunity for a capable and committed domestic couple to join a much-loved private estate in the heart of rural Gloucestershire. This is a welcoming, multi-generational family home looking for a proactive and experienced pair to support the smooth running of the household.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Cook/Housekeeper:

• Prepare daily meals for the family (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
  

• Batch cooking and freezer stocking
  

• Cater for occasional dinner parties (10–12 guests)
  

• Manage kitchen provisioning and pantry organisation
  

• All general housekeeping, cleaning
  

• General household support, errands, and a flexible, family-friendly approach
  

House Manager/Maintenance/Handyman:

• Daily running and oversight of the property
  

• Open/close house procedures and general upkeep
  

• Monitor and coordinate maintenance of appliances, systems, alarms, doors/windows
  

• Dealing hands on as much as possible with general maintenance issues (competent handyman/ex builder ideal!)
  

• Oversee home security
  

• Grounds and exterior maintenance where needed (working alongside external gardeners)
  

This is a hands-on, live-in role for a couple who enjoy the countryside, take pride in their work, and are happy to work closely with the family in a respectful and collaborative environment. You must be child-friendly and adaptable, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Working Hours:

• 5 days per week, including some weekends
  

• Average 40 hours per week, with flexibility required
  

Salary negotiable according to skills offered from £70k-£80k gross pa. Interviewing now to start when ideal couple found.
