G's Group is seeking an Engineering Operative to join the Harvest Engineering Team. You will help keep harvesting and processing machinery running during peak season, focusing on uptime and reliability.

You will support the Engineering Team with fault-finding, maintenance, and safety best practices while contributing to continuous improvements and ahead-of-season readiness. This is a hands-on, high-demand role requiring resilience and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering experience in maintenance and repair of machinery.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and fault-find on harvesting and processing machinery to keep operations running.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns, coordinating with the Engineering Team Leader to minimise downtime.
• Carry out all work safely and to a high engineering standard, following company procedures.
• Identify and implement improvements to machinery reliability, safety, and efficiency.
• Support engineering projects, including fabrication, modifications, and seasonal readiness work.
• Manage tools, spares, and parts to ensure ongoing operational readiness.
• Share knowledge and develop skills within the engineering team.
• Provide technical support to third-party or off-site operations when required.
