Qualifications

• All applicants must hold NVQ Level 2 (UK) or Scottish NVQ Level 2 or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for.
• Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs across a wide range of agricultural machinery and equipment
• Diagnose faults and ensure timely, effective fixes to minimise downtime
• Inspect, remove, and replace components in line with manufacturer guidelines
• Support machinery builds, modifications, and improvements within the workshop
• Assist with fabrication and machining of parts where required
• Test mechanical, low-voltage electrical, and pneumatic systems, recording findings accurately
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of work carried out
• Plan and prioritise workload efficiently, particularly during busy seasonal periods
• Report faults, breakdowns, or safety concerns promptly
• Work in line with all health & safety requirements, taking responsibility for your own safety and that of others
• Use appropriate PPE at all times
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Report any incidents, near misses, or equipment issues immediately
