Job summary

Adria Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Hardware Production Support Engineer to join our Scunthorpe site, onsite and full-time.

You will resolve build and test issues on the production floor, improve manufacturing processes and help bring new hardware products into reliable production. The role involves first-line engineering support for electronic and electromechanical assembly, fault diagnosis at the bench, and creating essential production documentation.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification in electronics or related field.
• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Strong fault-finding on build and test.
• Ability to read schematics and BOMs.
• Practical soldering and wiring harness experience.
• Proficient with oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• Maintain technical documentation with version control.
• Structured problem-solving and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line engineering support for electronic and electromechanical assembly and testing.
• Diagnose faults on the production floor and escalate where design changes are needed.
• Create and maintain assembly instructions and testing procedures.
• Design and maintain test jigs, wiring harnesses and equipment.
• Update bills of materials and support change control.
• Lead production side of new product introduction to manufacturing.
• Collaborate with QA and purchasing to resolve component issues.
• Improve build accuracy, test coverage and production efficiency.
