Job summary

Charlie Bigham's is seeking a Facilities & Hygiene Supervisor to lead a hands-on, multi-skilled team. You will ensure high standards across offices, welfare facilities, café areas, washrooms and other shared spaces while driving continuous improvements.

The role requires a proactive leader with strong COSHH knowledge, excellent communication, and a passion for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming workplace. The position is based on-site with regular hours.

• Experience leading and developing a team.
• Experience in facilities management or related services.
• Experience managing standards across offices and shared spaces.
• Hands-on leadership style with a proactive approach.
• Strong organisational skills for planning workloads and rotas.
• Excellent communication across departments.
• Strong health, safety focus with COSHH knowledge.
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain clean, safe environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a small facilities and hygiene team, creating a positive culture.
• Keep offices and shared spaces clean, safe and welcoming.
• Plan team rotas, holidays and cover arrangements.
• Carry out inspections and audits, identify improvements.
• Coach and develop team members.
• Champion health and safety best practice and COSHH compliance.
• Manage stocks of cleaning products, PPE, and consumables.
• Maintain records and compliance documentation.
• Build relationships across the site to support operations.
