Job summary

Accenture is seeking an AI Large Language Model (LLM) Technology Architect to lead hands-on design, build and delivery of enterprise AI solutions in London. You will architect agentic and generative AI systems, integrate foundation models, and ensure security, governance, and performance across client engagements.

The role emphasizes end-to-end component development, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering architecture artifacts to guide broader engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in designing & deploying enterprise grade AI solutions using agentic, generative and classical AI/ML.
• Hands-on experience with Agentic, LLM and Generative AI.
• Strong Python coding skills.
• Architecting and operationalizing LLM-driven architectures.
• Experience in machine learning, deep learning and NLP applications.
• Several years as a machine learning architect in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Independently design, build, and deliver AI software components end to end.
• Design AI agent architectures, including prompts, tools, skills, multi-agent orchestration, and memory.
• Create agent orchestration patterns with task handoffs, state management and error recovery.
• Evaluate design options balancing capability, cost, performance and reliability.
• Design and run evaluation strategies to measure accuracy, relevance and faithfulness.
• Architect and implement foundation model integrations (fine-tuning, RAG, custom integration).
• Design model adaptation and fine-tuning pipelines using transformer-based architectures.
• Build the AI context layer connecting enterprise data sources for grounded outputs.
• Implement embedding, vector storage, and retrieval in end-to-end RAG pipelines.
• Design context assembly and memory components for grounded responses.
• Identify reusable components and templates for faster delivery.
• Design for cost efficiency and performance including caching and resource usage.
• Develop governance controls: versioning, auditing, lineage and model docs.
• Build observability: logging, tracing, monitoring, alerting and cost tracking.
• Produce architecture artifacts to guide engineering teams.
• Continuously learn and apply new design patterns balancing innovation with reliability.
• Collaborate with data engineers, ML engineers and developers to translate requirements.
