Ashby in the United Kingdom is seeking an Engineering Manager to help us build a different kind of engineering team and culture across Europe. You will focus on engineering leadership, owning projects end-to-end, and empowering engineers to take ownership with minimal distraction.

You’ll balance hands-on coding with people leadership, mentoring junior managers, and shaping processes that enable fast, high-quality delivery while maintaining a collaborative environment across teams in Europe.

Responsibilities

• Provide feedback on product and technical specs to help engineers identify where to cut scope or improve quality.
• Grow engineers to take large, loosely defined projects and deliver them with little intervention.
• Jump into systems and code to debug customer issues, ship small bug fixes, or improve developer experience.
