Job summary

A well-established engineering and manufacturing firm in the UK is seeking an Electrical Assembly & Test Engineer to join their production team. This hands-on role requires strong practical experience with PCBs and electrical assemblies, rather than formal qualifications. Responsibilities include assembling and testing various products and ensuring quality standards are met. Ideal candidates will have experience in wiring harnesses and the ability to work from technical drawings. Competitive salary of £35,000 offered.

Qualifications

• Strong practical experience around PCBs, wiring, and electrical assemblies.
• Experience with wiring harnesses and looms is highly desirable.
• Ability to work from electrical and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test electrical, electronic, and hydraulic assemblies.
• Build and test valve packs and manifold assemblies.
• Wire and assemble PCBs, including soldering activities.
• Test finished products on test rigs.
• Build wiring looms, harnesses, or control panels.
• Complete production documentation and certificates.
