Fully Hands-On Customer Payroll Manager (ORACLE CLOUD PAYROLL) in MANCHESTER

Introduction:

Job Purpose:

The Symatrix Managed Services team offers services including application support for Oracle HRMS products, hosting, DBA services, HR and Payroll BPO, and testing services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Being the SME and primary contact for a large Payroll customer
  • Ensuring high-quality, customer-focused payroll services
  • Ensuring compliance with legislation, GDPR, and policies
  • Providing responsive and efficient customer service
  • Managing customer relationships and expectations
  • Maintaining confidentiality and supporting system and process improvements

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Managing a payroll team to ensure SLA adherence
  • Planning payroll workload and cycles
  • Resolving payroll queries and advising on legislation
  • Building customer relationships and managing escalations
  • Supporting change management and documentation updates
  • Participating in testing and system changes

Person Specification - Knowledge/Experience/Skills/Qualities:

  • At least some level of CIPP qualification
  • Solid experience with Oracle Cloud Payroll
  • Experience managing large payrolls and teams
  • UK-based and committed to high customer care standards
  • Experience in process improvement and cross-departmental work
  • Knowledge of UK HR legislation and data security
