Job summary

One Sixth Form College in Ipswich is seeking a Built Environment and Engineering Technician to join the technical team. The role covers maintenance, workshop support, equipment management and health and safety across various curriculum areas.

You will work in a busy, well-equipped environment and support students and staff during practical sessions, prepare materials and maintain equipment to ensure learning is safe and effective.

Qualifications

• Maintenance, workshop support, equipment management across curriculum areas
• Health and Safety across multiple curriculum areas
• Willingness to undertake essential training including first aid, safeguarding and fire safety

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of workshops and equipment
• Support practical sessions and prepare materials
• Assist with health and safety compliance and risk assessments
