Job summary

Morgan Motor Company Ltd in Great Malvern, Worcestershire, is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join our Chassis Department. This role involves assembling core mechanical systems and installing powertrain, steering and braking components to exacting standards.

You will work primarily in a structured team environment, ensuring vehicles are built to the highest quality and craftsmanship. The position is full-time permanent with 37.5 hours per week and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling mechanical systems to exacting standards.
• Proficient in using hand, power and pneumatic tools.
• Willingness to work across production functions and learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble vehicles to rolling or driving chassis stage in assigned bays.
• Fit mechanical components including powertrain, steering racks and braking systems.
• Complete fluid fills and perform related tests and quality checks.
• Use computer terminals to input or retrieve build information as required.
• Contribute to team meetings and collaborate with colleagues during build.
• Support training of new team members as necessary.
• Maintain high standards of quality, workmanship and craftsmanship.
