Job summary

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for Handballers / Warehouse Operatives to join our client in Holmewood. This is a physically demanding role in a temperature-controlled warehouse operating at -22°C with full insulated PPE provided.

Shifts run 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm on a 7-day operation, with weekend work required. Immediate starts after induction, with weekly pay and ongoing work opportunities.

Qualifications

• Heavy lifting and physical labor required.
• Reliable and punctual with weekend availability.
• Experience in warehouse or hand-balling is advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £12.71 per hour (Paid Weekly)
Job Type: Adhoc requirements
Shift: 6am-2pm/2pm - 10pm
Working Pattern: 7-day operation (weekend working required)

This is a physically demanding role within a temperature-controlled warehouse operating at -22°C. Full insulated PPE is provided, allowing you to work safely and comfortably in the freezer environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable individuals looking for regular ongoing work. The operation runs seven days a week, with shifts confirmed on a weekly basis.

Duties Include

• Handballing stock
• General warehouse labouring
• Delayering pallets
• Loading and unloading goods
• Adhering to health and safety procedures
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment

The Ideal Candidate

• Comfortable carrying out heavy lifting throughout the shift
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual
• Flexible to work weekends as required
• Previous warehouse, labouring or hand-balling experience is advantageous but not essential

Induction & Immediate Starts

Successful candidates will be required to attend an induction on Wednesday 2nd September, with immediate starts available thereafter.
