Job summary

Circle Integrated Care in Hertfordshire is seeking a Clinical Hand Specialist to join the Physiotherapy team on a bank basis, covering South West Hertfordshire. The role operates on an as-and-when-required basis, with an hourly rate up to £30.50 depending on experience and qualifications.

You will assess and treat complex hand injuries, develop advanced treatment plans, lead the service, collaborate with MDTs, deliver teaching, and ensure precise records and outcome tracking.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with hand therapy expertise.
• Extensive post-registration experience in musculoskeletal or upper limb rehab.
• Proven ability to lead or develop specialist services.
• Strong teaching and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialised hand therapy assessments and treatments.
• Develop and implement advanced treatment plans including splinting.
• Lead the hand therapy service within the physiotherapy team.
• Collaborate with surgeons and nurses for integrated care.
• Provide teaching and supervision to colleagues and students.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and outcome data.
