Job Role: Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant

The Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant will be expected to help and assist the team with day-to-day routines, including personal care and feeding.

The Healthcare Assistant / Support Worker must have at least 6 months of experience in care and possess a compassionate attitude.

Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers will help with the day-to-day care of patients in various settings, including homes, hospitals, or patients' own homes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Helping patients with washing, showering, or dressing
• Assisting with feeding and serving food
• Making and changing beds
• Turning patients to prevent pressure sores
• Providing companionship to reduce anxiety
• Assisting with mobility and transfers
• Helping patients with toileting needs
• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the environment
• Managing supplies and equipment

Experience with mobility aids and escorting patients within hospital departments may be required. With experience, you may participate in training new healthcare assistants.

We supply staff to both NHS and private sectors, including roles such as Nurse, General Nurse, RGN, NMC, Band 5 and 6, HCA, Community Nurse, and specialist Nurses in areas like A&E, Endoscopy, and Theatre.
