Job Role: Support Worker/Healthcare Assistant

The Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant will be expected to help and assist the team with day-to-day routines, including personal care and feeding.

The Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers must have at least 6 months of experience in care and possess a compassionate attitude.

Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers will help with the day-to-day care of patients in various settings such as homes, hospitals, or patients' own homes. They are vital members of the healthcare team.

As a Healthcare Assistant and Support Worker, you will work under the supervision of nursing staff, alongside other healthcare assistants.

  5. Talking to patients to reduce anxiety

Your daily tasks may involve using mobility aids, escorting patients within hospitals, and participating in induction training for new staff as you gain experience.
