Job summary

LXP Talent in Maidstone, Kent is seeking an experienced Hairdressing Educator to join their academy team on a part-time basis (3-4 days). You will deliver apprenticeship training and mentor aspiring stylists, helping them build confident, industry-ready careers.

You will conduct progress reviews, assessments and support learners through functional skills development, with ample opportunity for professional development within both education and hairdressing.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Hairdressing (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years' industry experience in hairdressing.
• A passion for developing and mentoring others.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Own car and willing to travel.
• Previous teaching, training, assessing, or apprenticeship experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training and support will be provided.

Responsibilities
