Hairdressing Apprenticeships At Wiles Studios In Northampton

Do you want to become the next hairdressing superstar? Then it's time to start your career as a Hairdressing Apprentice at Wiles Studios in Northampton!

This opportunity is open to all but usually attracts school leavers who love the creativity that a hairdressing career provides.

You will be employed full-time at Wiles Studios where you will gain hands-on experience on the salon floor. You will also study for your Level 2 Hairdressing NVQ at a local college where you will be expected to complete all project work and tests set by trainers, and keep a safe record of your assessments.

The ideal candidate should be friendly, helpful and respectful to clients and colleagues, with an interest in talking to and listening to people of all ages. You will be enthusiastic and passionate about hair and hairdressing; punctual and ready to learn new skills and work as part of a fun and friendly team.

Your role in the salon will include:

1. Tidying and maintaining the salon
2. Undertaking all reasonable tasks allocated to you
3. Providing refreshments to clients and visitors
4. Shampooing and applying conditioner treatments
5. Blow drying hair under supervision when requested
6. Preparing equipment and materials for stylists to use
7. Re-stocking products as requested
