Description

V.Ships Leisure is looking for Hair Stylist on behalf of Orient Express Sailing Yachts. Hairstylists are beauty service professionals who specialize in the fashioning and treatment of hair. Their responsibilities include cleaning and cutting hair, offering hair care and hairstyling consultations and recommending hair styling products, among other duties, in compliance with our Spa Partner standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing guests with advice and service.
• Ordering, controlling and managing inventory of products for the salon.
• Achieving and maintaining the required standards of guests' satisfaction.
• Providing haircuts for both women and men, including blowdrying, coloring and hairstyles, working with hair straighteners and curling irons and other Hair Salon equipment.
• Attend to the Barber shop onboard, managing all associated men services.
• Active participation in onboard training programs.
• Additional duties, not mentioned here, will be expected as per management request.

Education/Experience/Qualifications:

• Languages: Fluent English.
• Education: High school degree or related. Hairdresser training mandatory.
• Previous professional experience: 3 years as Hairdresser in a luxury environment.
• Shipboard experience: Not required but preferred.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid Pre-Employment Medical.
• C1D visa mandatory for all positions.
