Job description

We are currently seeking a Blow Dry Hair Stylist to join our welcoming and close-knit H beauty family in Bristol. Whether you're an experienced blow drying enthusiast or have recently discovered your passion for the beauty industry, particularly in blow drying and styling, we welcome you to apply at Harrods.

Exclusive to Harrods and H beauty, Drybar provides an elevated blow-dry experience for every occasion. H beauty is more than a typical beauty hall, featuring a champagne bar, blow dry bar, interactive play tables for testing the latest products, a Harrods gift shop, and a big pink bear for Instagram photos. Our focus is on creating a memorable experience for every customer.

About the Role

You will deliver first-class, personal customer service by building excellent rapport with clients and fulfilling their styling requests with ease. It is essential to care for and cater to your clients' needs, adapting new skills and techniques to perform your work efficiently and beautifully. Demonstrating exceptional product knowledge and striving to meet business goals while embodying the values and brand of H beauty are key responsibilities.

In return, you will receive a package including a minimum starting salary of £25,000 per annum, 22 days' holiday, your birthday off, double time on Bank Holidays, up to 33% discount at Harrods (including restaurants), and access to our pension scheme.

About You

You should have a strong passion for the beauty industry, pride in your work, from greeting customers to maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Being an excellent team player and aligning with Harrods' values to contribute to our goals and targets is important.

Additionally, you will:

• Display a positive, proactive attitude, upholding Drybar standards at all times.
• Possess both functional and technical skills to perform blowouts effectively.
• Be eager to learn and grow, receptive to guidance from managers.
• Have excellent communication skills to check in with clients throughout their appointment.
• Be able to take initiative, prioritize tasks, and ensure the smooth operation of Drybar.
