Hair & Beauty Teacher - Join an Inspirational ARP in Milton Keynes

Dunbar Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and passionate Hair & Beauty Teacher to join an exceptional Alternative Provision (ARP) in Milton Keynes.

About the Role:

• Location: Milton Keynes

• Start Date: ASAP

• Contract Type: Temporary, Part-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Hair & Beauty to students with a range of abilities and needs.

• Maintain a strong focus on behaviour management, creating a positive and safe learning environment.

• Develop students' practical skills through use of the fully equipped Hair & Beauty salon.

• Provide consistent feedback to students to help them achieve their academic and vocational goals.

• Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to support the holistic development of each student.

• Create individualised learning plans that support students with additional needs.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience teaching or tutoring young people, ideally within the 11-19 age group.

• Strong experience with behaviour management and working with students who may have complex needs.

• A passion for making a difference in the lives of young people, with a genuine care to support them in achieving their full potential.

• Experience in Hair & Beauty and the ability to deliver both theoretical and practical lessons.

• Experience within vocational training is highly beneficial, but not essential.
