Aspire People is partnering with a Further Education College to recruit a Health & Beauty Lecturer for a part-time, long-term temporary placement, delivering practical and theoretical sessions to post-16 learners.

The role involves supporting students, demonstrating techniques to industry standards, and maintaining a safe, well-organised learning environment. Shifts are split across the week to fit the timetable.

Competenze

• Has practical experience and good working knowledge of the health and beauty industry.
• Has previous experience of teaching, training, mentoring or supporting others in health and beauty.
• Is confident demonstrating practical skills and engaging with post-16 learners.
• Has good communication skills and the ability to motivate and encourage students.
• Is reliable, flexible and passionate about helping others develop their skills.
• Holds relevant industry, health and beauty or teaching qualifications (desirable).
• Teaching qualifications are not essential for this position. The college is particularly interested in candidates who have strong industry experience and have previously supported or taught health and beauty, whether in a formal teaching environment or through workplace training and mentoring.
• Candidates with other relevant qualifications and transferable experience are also encouraged to apply.

Health & Beauty Lecturer - Part Time

Location: Further Education College

Contract: Long-term temporary assignment (until at least Christmas, with the potential to extend)

Hours: Part time - split shifts across the week

Aspire People are currently working in partnership with a Further Education College to recruit an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Health & Beauty Lecturer to support the delivery of practical and theoretical sessions to post-16 learners.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced beauty therapist, health and beauty professional or someone with a relevant industry background who has experience of supporting, training or teaching others and is looking to take on a teaching role within a college environment.

The Role
