Job description

We are pleased to announce the creation of a new Haematology Clinical Nurse Specialist position to support our patients within the Haematology service at MFT.

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours, typically between 08:00-16:00.

Candidate requirements: Registered nurses with experience caring for patients in a Haematology/oncology outpatient setting are encouraged to apply.

Initially, the successful candidate will spend time with the established CNS team at Oxford Road campus for training and skill development. Line management and ongoing professional support will be provided by the Haematology Clinical Nurse Specialist Team based at Oxford Road Campus.

The role involves acting as a clinical expert, leader, researcher, and educator. You will serve as the key worker for patients diagnosed with MPN and CML, participate in educational sessions and MDT meetings, and contribute to the development of specialist nursing practice. Evidence of ongoing professional and academic development is expected.
