A leading cancer treatment centre in Manchester is seeking a motivated Administrative Assistant for the Haematology and Transplant Day Unit. The role includes planning patient admissions, greeting patients, and managing schedules. Candidates should possess NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualifications, experience in customer-facing roles, and strong communication and IT skills. The Haematology and Transplant Day Unit is looking to recruit a highly motivated, energetic and efficient team player to join the Haematology Directorate. The post holder will be able to work on their own initiative, prioritise their own workload, and support the efficient running of the Haematology Administrative team. The post holder will also assist the Medical and Nursing teams with clerical tasks, such as ensuring clinics are properly prepared and scheduling appointments. The post holder will be well organised, have a pleasant and approachable manner, be proactive, able to use initiative, and able to work in a busy, fast-paced environment. Good communication and IT skills are essential.
