An exciting opportunity has arisen for a healthcare support worker to join our busy haematology department at North Middlesex University Hospital.

The Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is an essential member of the team in the Haematology Day Unit, caring for patients attending for clinical procedures, assessments, and pain management. The post-holder will support nursing staff with clinical and administrative duties as directed by registered nurses.
The HCA will assist the nursing team in this fast-paced unit by supporting the management and coordination of all patients attending for treatment and haematology reviews. Flexibility and good communication skills are vital. The role involves working closely with nursing and haematology medical teams. There is also an opportunity to learn new skills and manage your own patient caseload under supervision.
